Employment Facilitation

 Khaled has completed a career management program focused on career development in the age of globalization. He has excellent career coaching skills to help clients carry out effective job search campaigns (e.g., resume and cover letter development, interviewing, cold calling and information gathering). As a Google web analyst, he gained excellent internet search skills to improve job seekers access to information. In today's job market, access to information is a key to personal and professional development. As a career professional with extensive background in economic research, he has an outstanding knowledge of labour market information and trends. This professional combination has allowed him to be a regular contributor to the Contact Point Quarterly Bulletin.       

 Newcomer Settlement Facilitation

 Khaled has an extensive knowledge of immigration and settlement issues and excellent connections with agencies serving newcomers in Peel region.  He worked for an immigration consulting office overseas and participated in Federal and Provincial (Ontario) consultations on new settlement services and language training for Canadian newcomers. He also facilitates a workshop on How to Empower Newcomers in the Age of Knowledge. This presentation is based on his personal and professional experiences as a new Canadian. Khaled is multilingual and effective facilitator in multicultural settings.  As a writer, he contributed to the Canadian Newcomer Magazine.   

 Translation and Arabization

 Khaled is certified as Arabic translator by the Arab Professional Translators Society. He translated economic reports, business and project documents and press releases for corporate clients in Canada and the Middle East including United Nations agencies. He is employed as Google web analyst for Arabic and English (US) websites with  expertise in Arabizing computer software. Khaled is bilingual published writer.

Community Development and Socioeconomic Research

 Khaled worked as an economic researcher with United Nations mission in Palestine. He managed research projects and data gathering activities. In his various capacities, he contributed to various publications on Palestinian socioeconomic trends. Khaled's work with Google helped him master the use of knowledge dynamics in development and transformation.  In this regard, he facilitated a workshop on How to Empower Newcomers in the Age of Knowledge as part of a leading conference on immigration and settlement issues in Ontario.
